Georg Urban has been in the renewable energy industry since 2011. His starting point in the industry was the position as Head of Sales at PVXCHANGE GmbH in Cologne. He then went on to work for EMEA Solutions Business Canadian Solar, EMEAR First Solar Inc., and has been the Vice President for Sales Business Development at Ideematec Group since 2017. Georg is an experienced international sales director with expertise in establishing, managing and motivating international specialist sales teams, developing and activating new strategies, structures and methods. He has a track record of success in management, acquiring major agreements, partnering with leading manufacturers, business plan development, and process planning. Further, Mr Urban holds a university degree in Economics and expertise in managing large-scale, complex investment projects and accompanying all project stages and cycles.
